The battlefields in Northern France and Belgium are fantastic places to experience the history of The First World War and therefore are popular destinations for school tours.  The battlefields provide the perfect setting for out of classroom learning for the GCSE specification looking specifically at Medicine on the Western Front, included in the British Medicine Through time topic.  The overall aim of the tour is to create an international experience that is hugely memorable, enjoyable, appropriately challenging, and in every sense, educational.

Details of Trip:  Meols Cop students have been afforded a wonderful opportunity to attend Wimbledon in July 2024.  The trip will also include a visit to the Globe theatre and an opportunity to see a production of Wicked! at the West End

The visit will take place on 09.07.2024 leaving school at 05.30am and returning at approximately 11pm on 10.07.23.

The cost for this trip is £306.50, which is to be paid via Parent Pay.

Please note that you do not need to pay each payment in one instalment, this can be split into as many payments as needed. You can make as many instalments as you wish, as long as the full instalment amount is paid by the due date shown.

However, once the due date has passed and you have not paid, you will need to pay that particular instalment in full.

Cancellation Policy

If you decide to withdraw your child at any stage then you will lose a percentage of the balance in accordance with the travel company’s terms and conditions as below: Outlined below is the period before scheduled departure within which written notification is received by us.

*Please note that ‘Deposit(s) / Payment(s) due only’ means all payments made, or due to be made, on or before the date of cancellation, and the cancellation charges apply whether or not you have made these payments at the time of cancellation.
